Products
I build products that do more than function. They provoke. They are playful. They clarify. They change behavior.
These might be digital tools, interactive systems, playable platforms, or public interfaces. Whatever the format, the goal is the same: create something that reveals insight through use. A product should not just solve a problem. It should expose a better question.
Utility + Usability = Usefulness
Outcomes:
Products that are easy to use, engaging, efficient and effective
Products that reshape how people engage with an institution
Past partners: Patient Ready VR, Realtor.com, Hidden Forces podcast, SYBO, Large Animal Games, Tommy Hilfiger, LEGO, Mattel
Experiences
I design experiences that act as mirrors, laboratories, and catalysts. They invite exploration and celebrate curiosity. They generate questions.
These can be exhibitions, civic activations, large-scale public installations, or immersive environments. They are structured spaces where people can test ideas, see themselves in context, and encounter others in new ways. The experience is not the end point. It is the engine.
Outcomes:
Prototypes that measure value
Participatory systems that build collective awareness
Moments of recognition that shift perspective
Installations that spark ongoing conversation
Past partners: Moment Factory, Journey, RLMG, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Arts+Industries Building, Exploratorium
Strategies
I work on strategies that move beyond documents and into practice. They are actionable and sustainable. They reflect the values of the organization.
Strategy, for me, is about redesigning the underlying mechanics of a team or an organization. Incentives. Feedback loops. Participation models. Creative habits. I help institutions shift from episodic innovation to embedded creative culture. Big or small, these workshops, labs, and residencies are scalable to your needs.
Outcomes:
Clear alignment between mission and behavior
Shared frameworks that teams continue using
Sustainable creative practices
Community engagement
Past partners: Exploratorium, de Young Museum, Museum of Us, Balboa Park, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History
