Description
I have yet to see a creative arts program that prepares its students for the real world. I’ve coached interns and industry newbies and every single one of them has said, at some point, that they’ve learned more in month of on-the-job training than they learned in their entire undergraduate program. I've seen schools with incredible studio curriculum, portfolio reviews and supportive career development staffs but none of that prepared their students for the essential communication and organization skills that they’ll need in the real-world.
How do you negotiate a contract? How do you resolve creative differences? How do you find ideas when you're dry and working on a deadline. In this workshop we’ll map out tools for all of these and deliver real-world skills that support your talent and drive.
